FRANKLIN
Guy Elden Stuby, 89, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2017.
He was born June 22, 1927, in Harrisburg, Illinois.
Guy was married to the late Rosalie Masner Stuby and would later marry Dorothy Daniel-Stuby.
He was employed as a truck driver at Sears Roebuck & Co. for 33 years, retiring in 1984.
Guy was a member of Southport Masonic Lodge No. 270, Indianapolis Valley of the Scottish Rite, Murat Shrine and Sojourner Masonic Club.
Guy is survived by his wife, Dorothy Daniel-Stuby; children, Tammy Sooy Lozano and Amy Sooy Broecker; stepchildren, Michael Doug (Kelly) Daniel, Deena (Tony) Fisher and Diana (John) Larowe; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in passing by his sons, Robert C., Donald L. and Joseph L. Sooy and William David Daniel; three brothers and three sisters.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 7602 Madison Ave., Indianapolis. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the mortuary. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
The family has suggested memorial gifts be given to the Shriners Hospital for Children or the Indiana Masonic Home Foundation.
