Camp Riley accepting applications for summer

Applications are being accepted for this year’s Camp Riley program, a camp for kids with physical disabilities and other special needs.

Online applications to secure a spot are available at rileykids.org/Camp.

Camp Riley is hosted at Bradford Woods, Indiana University’s outdoor recreation center in Martinsville.

The staff-to-camper ratio never exceeds 1 to 3. Children ages 8 to 18 can attend one of eight Camp Riley sessions offered in June and July. Sessions offer swimming, hiking, horseback riding, vertical climbing, canoeing, art projects and other activities.

New families may attend Newcomer’s Day 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on May 20 at Camp Riley to learn more.

Riley Children’s Foundation subsidizes camp fees, and financial assistance is available on a sliding scale based on household income.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to contact the Bradford Woods office if they have questions about camper eligibility, camp programs, camper care or facilities.

Questions should be directed to Bradford Woods at 765-342-2915 or [email protected].
