Greenwood Express office receives service acclaim

The Greenwood Express Employment Professionals office announced recently that the company won Inavero’s Best of Staffing Talent Award for providing superior service to job seekers.Presented in partnership with CareerBuilder, Inavero’s Best of Staffing Talent winners are proven industry leaders in service quality, based completely on the ratings given to them by the permanent and temporary employees they’ve helped find jobs.

Focused on helping connect people with the right jobs, Express received satisfaction scores of nine or 10 out of 10 from 71 percent of their placed job candidates — higher than the industry’s average of 47 percent, according to a statement from the company.

Hallmark Mortgage names top loan originator

Pam Heck, mortgage loan originator at Hallmark Home Mortgage, has been named the top producer in the Greenwood office for March.Hallmark Home Mortgage, based in Fort Wayne, was established in 2007, and has locations throughout Indiana, Ohio and Colorado.

The local office is at 489 S. State Road 135, Greenwood.

Dodson wins Ruoff top originator spot for March

Residential mortgage lender Ruoff Home Mortgage announced that Donnie Dodson was the top loan originator company-wide for the month of March. The top spot in each branch office, as well as the company, is based on the number of closed loans during the month, compared to peers.

Dodson has been with Ruoff Home Mortgage since May 2015.

Dodson works out of the Greenwood office, 972 Emerson Parkway, Suite C.

Senior care firm appoints marketing manager

Seniors Helping Seniors In-Home Care Services announced recently the addition of Cindy Johnson to the staff as operations and marketing manager.Johnson is a licensed practical nurse who brings many years of clinical experience and expertise to the Seniors Helping Seniors team.

The company provides a variety of services to senior citizens in Shelby, Johnson and Marion Counties who wish to remain in their own homes as they age. Services include personal care, housekeeping, mobility assistance, dementia care and related services.

Johnson will provide ongoing support to clients and caregivers, as well as outreach to referral partners and professionals in the senior care field.

First Credit Union promotes 2 staff members

Financial Center First Credit Union has promoted J. Michael B. MacDonald to commercial sales manager.With more than 39 years of experience in the financial service industry, MacDonald previously served as the credit union’s director of consumer lending and vice president of lending. Prior to joining Financial Center in 2009, he worked for First Indiana Bank.

MacDonald holds his bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Western Ontario. He is actively involved in the community serving as a Greenwood Chamber Ambassador and he is the incoming VP of the Givers Gain BNI chapter. MacDonald is a resident of Greenwood.

Financial Center has also promoted Dewey Williams to director of lending.

With more than 10 years of experience in the financial service industry, Williams previously served as the credit union’s branch manager, regional manager and commercial relationship manager. Prior to joining Financial Center in 2007, he worked in finance at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Williams holds his bachelor’s degree in political science from Northwestern University. He resides in Indianapolis.

Local financial center receives marketing award

Financial Center First Credit Union was recently honored with a Diamond Marketing Award which recognizes outstanding marketing and business development achievements in the credit union industry.The awards were presented by the Credit Union National Association Marketing & Business Development Council, a national network of more than 1,200 credit union marketing and business development professionals. Awards are given in each of 30 categories including advertising, community events and more.

Financial Center won in the microsite category for its new auto refinance website.

Award winners were recognized at the Council’s 24th annual conference held in San Antonio, Texas at the end of March.

Credit Union donates to Ronald McDonald House

Indiana Members Credit Union recently presented a check for $9,286 to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Indiana as part of an ongoing debit card give-back program.The partnership allows members to show their support for the charity by signing up for and using a Ronald McDonald House debit card. Every time the card is used as a signature-based transaction, Ronald McDonald House benefits. The more cards that are in use, the larger the contribution. Since beginning the program in 2015, the charity has earned $13,328 through this IMCU giveback program.

IMCU’s AVP of Sales and Marketing, Thorpe Miller, presented the most recent check to Michelle Study-Campbell, chief executive officer of the organization at the state of the house breakfast and annual meeting on March 15.
