Counterfeiting
2800 block of U.S. 31: A woman reported at 11:19 a.m. Wednesday that she received a counterfeit $20 bill as change at a local department store.
Battery
1100 block of West Jefferson Street: A man reported at 4:41 p.m. Wednesday that an acquaintance hit him in the head with a power washer. The victim had to get stitches.

- 1400 block of Lank Court: Police responded at 10:23 a.m. Wednesday to a report of theft.
- 700 block of Woodale Terrace: Police responded at 3:31 a.m. Thursday to a report of theft.
Shoplifting
Von Maur, 1251 U.S. 31 North: Police responded at 12:03 p.m. Wednesday to a report of a shoplifter. A woman was arrested, released and issued a summons to appear in court.

- 5300 block of West Smokey Row Road, Greenwood: A man reported at 11:29 a.m. Wednesday that a work phone was missing from his home.
- North State Road 37 and West County Line Road, Greenwood: A man reported at 11:55 a.m. Wednesday that someone entered a barn he rented and stole an antique ice chest and other items.
Fraud
CVS, 640 S. State Road 135, Greenwood: An employee reported at 7:33 p.m. Wednesday that a man attempted to pick up someone else’s prescription.
