Northwood names teacher as new assistant principal

Northwood Elementary School in Franklin has new leadership.

Chloe Limbach was named assistant principal this week. Nicci Sargeant has been named principal.

Limbach has taught kindergarten at Northwood Elementary for 10 years. She has also taught first and second grade at the school. Limbach earned a bachelor’s degree from Franklin College and master’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan University.

“I am honored and proud to transition into the role of assistant principal,” Limbach said in a news release. “I am excited to continue the educational journey and excellence in all students at Northwood and the district. I am committed to developing relationships with students, staff, parents, and the community while continuing to foster a positive and safe learning environment.”

Chloe Limbach will replace Sargent as assistant principal. Sargent will begin her role as principal at the start of the 2017-18 school year.
