Delores “Dee” J. Morris, age 89, of Franklin, passed away at Community Hospital South Wednesday, April 5, 2017.
Dee was born on Feb. 11, 1928, in Knightsville, to the late Oscar and Grace (Siner) Latham.
She retired from Walmart, and she enjoyed working in her yard and loved to knit.
Dee was preceded in death by her husband, James Kenneth Morris; four brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include children, Bill Schurick (Patricia) of Edinburgh, Linda Mitchell (Butch) of Cadiz, Kentucky, Debra Baker (Glenn Eastes) and James K. Morris II (Jan) both of Edinburgh, Ronald E. Morris (Sabrina) of Nineveh; and several grandchildren.
A funeral service for Dee will be held at noon Monday at Wilson and St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Greenwood Chapel 481 W. Main St., with visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens Cemetery in Greenwood.
