TRAFALGAR

Donna Jean Lee, 48, of Trafalgar, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at her residence.

She was born Nov. 28, 1968, at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin.

She was a 1987 graduate of Indian Creek High School and attended Vincennes University.

She owned and operated her home cleaning service. She previously had been a waitress for the Bargersville and Trafalgar restaurants for 30 years.

She was a volunteer at heart for her family and community including the fish frys for the Trafalgar Volunteer Fire Department, the Carrie Clayburn FFA Scholarship Dinner, programs at Indian Creek High School and was active with her children in Johnson County 4-H.

She was a loving wife, mother, daughter and friend to so many.

Survivors include her husband Jeffrey D. Lee of Trafalgar whom she married on July 3, 1993, at Greenwood Christian Church; her daughter, Kirsten A. Lee of Trafalgar, her son Jeremy P. Lee of Trafalgar; mother Alice Jean “A.J.” (Hogue) Brownfield and stepfather Michael Brownfield of Trafalgar, father Robert Fancher (Phyllis) of Indianapolis; brother David Lee Fancher (Daniella Fancher) of Arlington, Virginia; maternal grandmother, Pearl (Burgin) Hogue of Trafalgar; mother-in-law, Marcia (Foley) Campbell (Craig) of Franklin; two half-brothers, Brandon Francher (Abby) and Josh Francher both of Greenfield;  stepbrother, Douglas Brownfield (Bev) of Franklin; stepsister, Angela Burdine (Josh) of Franklin; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Paul Hogue on May 29, 1996; father-in-law, Dennis Lee; and grandparents-in-law, James and Evelyn Lee and Paul and Bertha Foley; and her aunt Ruth Ann (Hogue) Stancombe.

The Rev. Jeff Johnson will conduct a service at 10 a.m. on Saturday  at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 U.S. 31 South (Morton Street) in Franklin. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at the mortuary. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
