Edna May (Ringer) Pryor

NINEVEH

Edna May (Ringer) Pryor, 88, passed away on Monday, April 3, 2017. She was a resident of Nineveh.

She was born April 6, 1928, in Indianapolis, to Paul and Louise Christine Ringer. She was the ninth of 10 children.

Edna married Howard Pryor on May 3, 1975.

She is survived by a son, David (Ron) Breedlove; daughters, Sally Breedlove, Laura (Jim) Alerding and Deborah (Warren) Collins; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; stepsons, Phillip (Sandy) Pryor and Jeffery Pryor; and stepdaughter, Glenna (Max) Morgan.

She was preceded in passing by her husband, Howard Pryor.

Edna graduated from T.C. Howe High School in Indianapolis, in 1945, at the age of 16.

Edna retired from American States Insurance in 1981. She was an active member of the Johnson County Senior Center. Edna was a resident of the Prince’s Lakes community since 1981.

Edna was a talented artist of all mediums. She was also an avid gardener, homemaker and excellent cook. Edna’s sweet personality and loving smile will be dearly missed.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. Saturday at Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St. (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Burial will be at Nineveh Cemetery in Nineveh.
