INDIANAPOLIS
Walter Stephen Johnes, 73, died on Sunday, April 2, 2017. He was a resident of Indianapolis.
He is survived by his wife, Diana C. (Meier) Johnes; his four children, Jennifer (Ed) Brehob, Stephani (John) Remetta, James (Ashley) Johnes and Jonathon (Kate) Johnes; 10 grandchildren; his father, Walter E. Johnes; his brother, Randal (Anna) Johnes; and two sisters, Mary Ann (Herb) Senft and Faith Pederson.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at G.H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Ave., Indianapolis. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or St. Francis Hospice.
