Nineveh home burglarized

Police are looking for the men who pulled a truck into a driveway of a home in Nineveh and loaded it with thousands of dollars of stolen goods and cash.

A neighbor reported at 3:16 p.m. Monday that he saw multiple men pull a truck into the home’s driveway in the 1100 block of East County Road 775S, according to a report from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.

The homeowner reported that three televisions, prescription medication, a revolver, a diamond ring, a computer tablet, a safe and $1,000 in cash was taken.

The home had a rear door pried open. A sweatshirt and glove that the homeowner did not recognize were left at the scene, the report said.
