Glenn Dunn, 74, passed away on Friday, March 31, 2017, in Greenwood. He was a resident of Greenwood.

He was born on April 12th, 1942, in Viper, Kentucky to Elisha and Juda (Caudill) Dunn. Glenn married Abby Beatrice Halcomb on June 2, 1965. She survives.

Other survivors include two daughters, Debbie Waters (Donnie) of Franklin and Deanna Dunn of Rowlett, Texas; seven grandchildren, Alison Waters, D.J. Waters, Daniel Waters, Trinity Waters; Dakota Lovett, Piper Lovett and Paisley Cook. Also surviving are three great-grandchildren, Nevaeh Caito, Raylee Mae Goff and Nova Waters; two sisters, Thelma Lewis and Katherine Hall, both of Kentucky and two brothers, Dick Dunn of Kentucky and Leonard Dunn of Franklin. He was preceded in passing by his parents, one brother and three sisters.

Glenn was a graduate of Dilce Combs Memorial High School in Jeff, Kentucky and Greer Technical College in Chicago. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving from 1960 to 1963.

He was employed at Navistar in Indianapolis as a machinist for 37 years, retiring in 2004.

Glenn attended Victory Baptist Church in Whiteland. He was a member of the Franklin Masonic Lodge No. 107, F & A M and the Johnson County Garden Club. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

Pastor Mark Felber will conduct a celebration of Glenn’s life at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be at Acton Cemetery.
