FRANKLIN
Gary L. Kloss, 59, passed away Friday morning, March 31, 2017, at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis. He was a resident of Franklin.
He was born on June 7, 1957, to the late Paul and Geraldine (Gates) Kloss.
He is survived by one sister, Kathy “Kate” Sheaff of Greenwood; one nephew, Kevin Sheaff of Greenwood; aunt, Shirley Allen and uncle, Richard (Barbara) Gates, all of Indianapolis; four cousins, Darrell, Gloria and Michael Allen and Kimberly Reynolds, and numerous other cousins.
Gary was a 1975 graduate of Whiteland Community High School and a 2010 graduate of Ivy Tech Community College.
He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Franklin where he assisted in the audio/visual department. Gary enjoyed volunteering at Johnson Memorial Hospital.
He also enjoyed spending time with friends at Tom’s Pancake House in Franklin and also enjoyed going to dinner after church with friends.
A celebration of Gary’s life will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St. (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin, with calling from 11 a.m. Monday to time of service at the funeral home. The Rev. Andy Kinsey will officiate the service. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
