1100 block of Hospital Road: Police responded at 3:03 a.m. Thursday to a report of battery.
Fraud
2800 block of U.S. 31: A woman reported at 6:24 p.m. Wednesday that she received a call from a person purportedly with a police agency. The person told her she needed to give them money to stop an arrest warrant. The call was fraudulent.
Burglary
1100 block of Hospital Road: A man reported at 3:54 p.m. Thursday that a box heater, shop vac, washer and dryer and tools were missing from his property.
Property-damage accident
4:35 p.m. Sunday — Herriott Street and Jackson Street.

Thefts
- Walmart, 1133 N. Emerson Avenue: A loss prevention officer reported at 2:51 p.m. Wednesday that a woman stole a cell phone case.
- First block of Sayre Drive: Police responded at 6:21 p.m. Wednesday to a report of a stolen cellphone.
- Kohls, 550 Fry Road: Police responded at 8:35 p.m. Wednesday to a report of theft. A juvenile was arrested and released to a relative.
Criminal mischief
300 block of Oak Brooke Lane: An officer observed a broken mailbox at 7:27 a.m. Wednesday.

Theft
1700 block of N. Franklin Road, Greenwood: A man reported at 7:09 p.m. Wednesday that he was allowing a man to test drive a car he had for sale. The test driver asked him to get out of the vehicle and took off in the vehicle when the man obliged.
