Dannie Ray Lyles, 72, of Greenwood, passed away Monday, March 27, 2017.
The son of Everett and Bertha Mae Owens Lyles, Dannie was born June 15, 1944, in Scottsville, Kentucky.
He retired in 2009 after 42 years of service from CSX.
Dannie is survived by his wife, Robbie D. Lyles; daughter, Cindy L. (Michael) Hopkins; son, Brian D. (Tara) Lyles; niece, Antonia Munoz; brothers, Charles (Delores) and David Lyles; sister, Luann Allen; brother-in-law, David Constant; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
In addition to his parents, Dannie was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Joe Lyles, and sisters, Joyce Brand, Brenda Constant and Barbalene Lyles.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, where friends may call 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
