Softball splits twinbill
After dropping the first game of its Wednesday doubleheader at Hope College in Michigan, the Franklin softball team bounced back with an 8-6 triumph in the nightcap to salvage a split.
The Grizzlies (11-7) open Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference play Saturday with a pair of games at Defiance.
