Johnson County man arrested after shooting at woman

A Johnson County man was arrested Monday after deputies said he fired a gun at a woman’s car, striking the door.

Jack Bradley, 68, was arrested on a charge of criminal recklessness. No one was injured.

A woman told deputies that she and Bradley had been arguing over the weekend, and he eventually told her she had to leave his house. Once she was outside, Bradley threw her purse to the ground and threw her car keys at her, a Johnson County Sheriff’s Office report said.

While the woman was backing out of the driveway, Bradley fired a shotgun at her car. The shot hit the driver’s side door. The woman, who was not injured, drove to a friend’s home and called 911, the report said.

Bradley, 3664 S. County Road 500 E., Franklin, was arrested and taken to the Johnson County jail. He was released on $1,200 bond.
