GREENWOOD
Clarence R. Line Jr., 70, of Greenwood, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017.
He was born on Aug. 29, 1946, in Indianapolis, to the late Clarence Line Sr. and Pricilla Mae Line.
After receiving his high school diploma, Clarence enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served during the Vietnam conflict.
After returning home, Clarence provided for his family by working in transportation as a truck driver.
Among his many interests were traveling, gardening, fixing things around the house, going out to eat, spending time with his family and playing with his dogs.
Aside from his loving parents, Clarence is preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Line.
He is survived by his loving wife, Judy A. Line; his two sons, Ken and Rob Collins; his two sisters, Nancy Apostolos and Sharon Baker; and his two grandchildren, Kayla and Kenneth Collins Jr.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St., Indianapolis, with calling from 11 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Round Hill Cemetery.
