INDIANAPOLIS
Samuel Paul Newkirk, 25, passed away Tuesday afternoon, March 14, 2017. He was a resident of Indianapolis and formerly of Greenwood.
He was born July 28, 1991, in Franklin to David P. And Cynthia (Flaherty) Newkirk.
Sam is survived by his father and brother, Joe.
He was preceded in passing by his mother, who we are sure is overjoyed to be with her Sam again.
Sam was a 2010 graduate of Greenwood Community High School.
He would go on to be an accomplished welder, with a lifelong passion for ’73 to ’79 Ford pickup trucks.
He could make anyone laugh and was loved by many.
