FRANKLIN
James B. Young, 84, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 16, 2017, surrounded by his loving family to be with his Lord. He was a resident of Franklin.
James was born Feb. 20, 1933, in Lafayette, Tennessee to James Edward and Anna Mae (Bray) Young.
James was married to the love of his life Vonda; she survives him along with their daughter, Debbie (A.G.) Roy of Franklin; son, Joe (Bonnie) Young of Greenfield; and one loving grandson, Timmy Roy of Franklin.
James fought a very courageous battle against a lengthy illness while at Homeview Health and Rehab. His loving wife was always by his side.
James was a hard-working man, working at Arvin’s Industries in Franklin for 47 years. James was a loving husband, dad and granddad.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A private service was conducted at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home in Franklin with Chaplain Joanna Morse officiating. Burial was at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
