Storm watcher training session set

Johnson County Emergency Management Agency will host storm spotter training on Monday.

The training session is open to all who are interested. There is no charge to attend.

The training will be 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Sheriff’s Training Facility, 1061 Hospital Road, Franklin, behind the sheriff-jail building.

National Weather Service Meteorologist Dan McCarthy will describe cloud and wind patterns associated with severe weather and how to interpret weather radar date and remain safe.
