GREENWOOD
Maurine B. Campbell, 79, of Greenwood, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2017.
The daughter of Woolery “Dutch” and Nannie Couch Bowling, Maurine was born June 15, 1937, in Hazard, Kentucky. A homemaker, she enjoyed gardening, boating and camping at Lake Lemon and cooking Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners for family.
Maurine is survived by sons, Rick (Peggy) Campbell of Greenwood and Ty (Darla) Campbell of Indianapolis; sisters, Dorothy Willis, Dolly Combs, Nanajean Baker and Thelma Means; grandchildren, Brandy Burgoyne, Brittany Campbell, Michael Campbell and Matthew Campbell; great-grandchildren, Nora Campbell and Ford Burgoyne.
In addition to her parents, Maurine was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin C. Campbell; brothers, Garrett, Fred and Lester Bowling and sister, Maltie Woods.
A funeral service will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, where friends may call 1:30 p.m. to service time at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
