GREENWOOD
Harold J. Webb, 83, of Greenwood, went to his Heavenly home Tuesday, March 14, 2017.
Harold was born Aug. 16, 1933, in Herrin, Illinois, to Harold C. and Rose Marie (Milchic) Webb.
Harold attended Elkhart High School and was a U.S. Air Force Korean war veteran, serving from 1951 to 1955.
After the military, Harold worked at Chrysler Corporation as an engineer, retiring after 30-plus years of service.
Harold was a member of Greenwood Community Church where he was a choir member. He later attended Southland Community Church. He was a member of the A.O.P.A. and the Greenwood Pilots Club. Harold was also a member of Beech Grove Masonic Lodge No. 694.
On Aug. 17, 1956, Harold married the love of his life, Donnagail McGinnis. She survives him along with their sons, Harold J. (Giao) Webb, II, of Kingsport, Tennessee, Kevin (Penny) Webb of Greenwood, Kenneth Webb of Springfield, Ohio, Deno (Diane) Webb of New Palestine and Roger (Jennifer) Webb of Greenwood; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Patricia Mack; and granddaughter, Gretchen Webb.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood with Pastor Kerry Huffman officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
