NEW WHITELAND
Ruth May (Richeson) Taylor, 92, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2017, in Greenwood. She was a resident of New Whiteland.
She was born Sept. 28, 1924, in Nineveh to Olda Jacob and Violet May (Frazier) Richeson.
She married James William Taylor Sr. on June 25, 1943, in Franklin.
He preceded her in passing April 22, 2008.
Ruth is survived by a son, James William (Sharon) Taylor, Jr. of McKinney, Texas; a daughter, Sharon Zschiedrich of Whiteland and son, Jeff (Debbie) Taylor of Greenwood; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren; sister in-law, Irene Richeson of Florida and aunt, Ona Smith of Beech Grove.
She was preceded in passing by her parents; husband, Jim and brothers, Melvin Richeson and Robert Richeson and sister, Helen Nuffer; son in-law, John Zschiedrich, Sr. and grandson, John Zschiedrich, Jr.
She was a 1942 graduate of Trafalgar High School. Ruth was a homemaker.
She was a member of Victory Baptist Church.
A private family burial will be at Nineveh Cemetery in Nineveh.
