Denver Helton, 82, of Whiteland, died Thursday, March 9, 2017, in Indianapolis.
He is survived by his wife, Ada Mae (Caldwell) Helton of Whiteland; seven children, Charlene (Eugene Jr.) Baker, Danny (Sheri) Helton, Connie (Sonny) Palmer, Charles (Jennie) Helton, Allan (Lisa) Helton, Delores (Tony) Embrey and Kimberly (Greg) Lipps; one sister, Brenda (John) Henson; and one brother, Bobby (Sarah) Helton, both of Kentucky; 20 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Elizabeth Helton.
Rev. Carlos Burdine will be conducting a funeral at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Shelby St. Pentecostal Lighthouse Church, 8620 S. Shelby St. Indianapolis.Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the church. Burial will be at the Mt. Pleasant Glenns Valley Cemetery, Greenwood.
