Explore poet’s writing

The work of Indiana’s most famous poet will be the focus of the Johnson County Museum of History’s annual Victorian tea this weekend.

The tea program will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at the museum, 135 N. Main St., Franklin.

Explore the life of writer, poet, and bestselling author James Whitcomb Riley, through the eyes of Hoosier actor Danny Russel.

Enjoy finger foods, teas, and desserts from Suzy’s Tea House and Bakery. Tickets are $15 per individual, or $90 for a table of seven. Tickets can be purchased at the museum; call 317-346-4500 for availability.
