Taylorsville teen remains in critical condition

A Taylorsville teen remains in critical condition after an early Saturday morning automobile accident.

Zeckaraih L. Raleigh, 18, remained in critical condition on Tuesday afternoon at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital. He had been flown there by medical helicopter after the crash in southern Johnson County.

Police said the crash happened near State Road 252 and Airport Road. Raleigh was headed east on State Road 252, crossed to the other side of the road and went off the road, hitting a guardrail, according to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.

Raleigh was ejected from the vehicle. Investigators do not believe he was wearing a seat belt, according to the sheriff’s office.
