Melinda Elizabeth (LeFave) Pagel, 57, of Indianapolis, passed away Monday, March 6, 2017.
She was born Oct. 24, 1959, in Indianapolis, to Carmen and Doris LeFave.
Melinda loved all animals, reading about science and listening to music.
She was very generous of heart, she had empathy for other people and always was willing to help someone out.
Melinda is survived by her loving husband, Thomas M. Pagel; son, Aaron Pagel; stepson, Jason M. Pagel; mother, Doris A. LeFave; sister, Julie Lynn Cass; half-brother, Gary LeFave (Jane); three nieces, Grace Cass, Kristy and Chelci LeFave; and four nephews, Adam and Sean Cass, Christopher and William Barry Jr. LeFave .
She was preceded in death by her father, Carmen LeFave; and half-brother, William Barry LeFave.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Friday at G. H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Ave., Indianapolis. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery.
