Lehman earns All-MAC recognition
Indian Creek grad Ally Lehman, a six-time Player of the Week in the Mid-American Conference this season for Northern Illinois, was named to the All-MAC first team Tuesday.
Lehman, who was a third-team selection last year as a junior, also was the runner-up in the voting for 2016-17 MAC Player of the Year. She ranked second in the league in rebounding (10.0) and third in scoring (18.3) and assists (6.6), posting 17 double-doubles and a pair of triple-doubles.
The Huskies, who finished the regular season 19-10 overall and 12-6 in the conference, earned the fourth seed in the MAC tournament. They will face Ohio in a quarterfinal game today.
