Rebels into sectional final
Kellen Schreiber scored 17 points and Joe Kirkhoff added 14 as Roncalli rolled past Southport on Friday night, 62-42, to advance to the championship game of the Class 4A Decatur Central Sectional.
The Rebels (17-8) will face Ben Davis in tonight’s title game.

Baseball drops home opener
After coming back from a three-run deficit to tie the game, Franklin College wound up dropping a 5-4 battle with Albion in its baseball home opener Friday.
Frank Podkul and Sam Claycamp each had two hits for the Grizzlies (2-3).
The two teams will play a doubleheader today.
