Fund set up to help with infant’s burial expenses

A benefit fund to help the family of a 1-year-old Center Grove area girl has been set up at Old National Bank.

The fund will help with the funeral and burial costs for Ella-Lee Hammons, who was killed Feb. 24 when she was struck by her mother’s car as she backed out of the driveway.

People can contribute to the account at any Old National Bank branch under the name Rebecca S. Childers FBO (for the benefit of) Ella-Lee Hammons. Donations can be made during bank hours, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

Supporters encourage people to donate as quickly as possible, but the account will remain open through March 31.
