BROWN COUNTY
George E. Fisher Jr., 68, died on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017, at the Community Hospital South in Indianapolis. He was a resident of Brown County.
He is survived by two sons, Brett J. (Regina) Fisher of Franklin and Bradley James (Donna) Fisher of Brown County; stepdaughters, Bobbie (Jerry) Castner of Port Richey, Florida, and Brenda (George) Knoch of Lamar, Missouri; four brothers, Ralph (Linda) M. Fisher of Monrovia, Robert (Mica) L. Fisher of Chicago, Marion Hayden Fisher of Martinsville and William (Becky) H. Fisher of Mooresville; 11 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma L. “Willie” (Swinyar) Fisher; and stepdaughter, Bonnie Smitherman.
A celebration of life service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry St., Morgantown. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
