James “Gabby” Allen Brooks, 87, of Beech Grove, died on Feb. 24, 2017.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia “Jenny” Lee Brooks; children, Allen (Cheryl) Brooks and Linda Graves; six grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and siblings Peggy Greb, Glen Brooks and Ludy Chadwick.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at G.H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Ave., Indianapolis. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
