Jenny Wilson and Gustavo Paredes of Franklin announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Umbarger of Franklin, to Donovan Hale of Whiteland, son of Devin and Kim Hale of Whiteland.
Miss Umbarger graduated from Franklin Community High School in 2015 and Regency Cosmetology in 2016. She is a home healthcare aid and a cosmetologist.
The future groom graduated from Whiteland Community High School in 2014. He is employed at Knauf Insulation in Shelbyville.
The wedding is planned for Sept. 8, 2018, in a country setting.
