EDINBURGH
Charles L. Sharp, 54, of Edinburgh, passed away Monday, Feb. 20, 2017, at his residence.
He was born June 28, 1962, in Franklin. He was the son of Lester J. and Thelma D. (McKinney) Sharp.
He is survived by his mother, Thelma D. Sharp of Edinburgh; a daughter, Crystal Sharp of Austin; brothers, Elvis (Millie) Gaskin and Curtis Sharp, both of Edinburgh; and a sister, Deborah “Debe” Baughman of Kendallville.
He was preceded in death by his father, and a brother, Michael N. Sharp.
He had formerly worked in the maintenance department at Pearson Education in Whitestown.
He was a Dallas Cowboys and Elvis Presley fan. He enjoyed discussing politics.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh. Calling will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
