Patsy Lou Farnham

Patsy Lou Farnham, age 86, of Franklin, passed away in the afternoon of Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017, surrounded by her loving family.

Pat was born on Dec. 11, 1930, in Beech Grove to Fred and Ruth (Marquardt) Lienhoop.

She graduated from Shortridge High School in Indianapolis.

On Sept. 4, 1949, she married Walter J. Mussmann, and they were married for 38 years before his death on April 30, 1988. She married Irving Farnham on April 9, 2005.

Pat had a long career as an activity director and consultant in nursing homes including many years at Regency Place in Greenwood. She retired in 2005 from the Indiana Masonic Home.

Pat was a lifelong member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

She was passionate about ballroom dancing, crafting and entertaining.

Some of her favorite times were when the whole family gathered together for Christmas. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.

Pat is survived by her husband, Irving Farnham of Franklin; three children, Scott Mussmann of Indianapolis, Andrea (Michael) Murray of Clayton and Cheryl (Han) Roest of Novi, Michigan; and two granddaughters, Celine and Karenna Roest.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Fretwell.

A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Wilson and St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, 481 W. Main St., Greenwood.
