Home burglarized while residents slept

A wallet and keys were stolen from a Greenwood home early Wednesday morning while residents slept.

A resident at a home on the 1000 block of Stonehedge Drive told police she woke up between midnight and 2 a.m. by some noises but believed they were coming from outside her home, a Greenwood Police Department report said.

In the morning, the resident found that her wallet and her keys were missing, the report said.

Police are investigating.
