Cougars topple Waldron
Greenwood Christian stormed back from a nine-point halftime deficit Tuesday night to pick up a 71-61 victory at Waldron.
Payton Modlin paced the Cougars (7-13) with 22 points, while Cooper Britt and Quentin Steele added 16 and 12, respectively. Greenwood Christian outscored the Mohawks 44-25 in the second half.

More honors for IC grad Lehman
Former Indian Creek star Ally Lehman has been outstanding throughout her senior season at Northern Illinois, and on Tuesday she made history when she was named Mid-American Conference’s West Division Player of the Week for the fourth time this season.
Lehman, who earned the nod by averaging 30 points, 11.5 rebounds and eight assists in the Huskies’ two games last week, became the first player in NIU history to earn four such weekly conference honors in the same season.
