Mary Heisinger-Bills

PORT HUENEME, Calif.

Mary Heisinger-Bills , 85, of Port Hueneme, California passed away Friday, Oct. 14, 2016.

Our mother was born April 11, 1931, in Brewley, Newfoundland. She became a Navy wife and lived in Port Hueneme for 56 years. She spent her working years at the Thrifty Coffee Shop, the main office at Chase Brother’s Dairy, and the Chief’s Club on the naval base.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Stanley Heisinger, Boatswain’s Mate Chief, USN, Retired, and is survived by her second husband of 20 years, Robert Bills, Command Master Chief, USN, Retired, and her children, Harold Fewer, Anne, Pete, and Paul Heisinger, and her stepdaughters, Ana Bills and Florita Bills-Kaup, and her beloved dog, Coco. She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, and sisters, Kaye, Margaret, Bride, and Rita.

We would like to express our appreciation to Dr. Karan Singh, the staff of Saint John’s Hospital, and Livingston Caregivers, for their expert care and compassion.
