FRANKLIN
Mary Jo Sanders 80, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2017.
She was employed by a number of insurance companies, including Gaskill Puthran Insurance Agency and Allison Cline Insurance Agency. She also co-founded Fire Adjustment Company with her husband and father. Mary Jo was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Franklin and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 300.
She is survived by her stepson, Fred (Jennifer) Sanders; son-in-law, Steven Purdy; grandchildren, Bethany Crain, Joey Purdy and Nathan Johnson; stepgrandchildren, Alex, Kyle and Emma Sanders; great-grandchildren, Holden Crain and Nathan Johnson; and sister, Linda (William) Parsons.
Mary Jo is preceded in death by her husband, Terry; and her daughter, Vickie Purdy.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
