Some Whiteland residents are being told to boil their water due to a hydrant that leaked during repairs.

The hydrant leaked during repairs on Saturday, which may have caused some discoloration to residents’ water, according to a news release from the town.

As a precaution, the town has issued a boil water order for the following streets until Wednesday:

  • North Railroad Street
  • Veatch Street
  • Kelsey Court
  • Williamson Street
