Walmart, 2125 N. U.S. 31: A loss prevention officer reported at 1:36 p.m. Wednesday that a man attempted to steal baseball caps. He was issued a trespass warning.

300 block of Young Street: A woman reported at 9:23 p.m. Wednesday that a bag with prescription medication was stolen from her vehicle.

1200 block of Beacon Pointe Drive: Police responded to a report of burglary at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Shoplifting
Dollar General, 1140 N. State Road 135: Police responded at 1:08 p.m. Wednesday to a report of shoplifting. A man was arrested.

Johnson County
Theft
1000 block of N. Bluff Road, Greenwood: A man reported at 11:39 a.m. Wednesday that two individuals attempted to steal copper. When confronted, they put most of the copper back but were able to escape with a furnace.
