A garage was destroyed and two decks on a home were damaged after a fire in Prince’s Lakes.
Firefighters from Nineveh, Amity and Trafalgar responded to a garage fire in the 8500 block of Providence Drive at 11:26 a.m. Thursday.
The owners were home, but escaped safely and were not hurt in the blaze, town marshal Greg Southers said.
Good Samaritans helped firefighters battle the blaze in the garage. The fire scorched two decks attached to the home, but the home did not have any damage, he said.
The garage is a total loss, Southers said.
Fire officials are investigating the cause of the fire, he said.
