JEFFERSONVILLE
James M. Shepherd, 78, of Jeffersonville, died Monday, Jan. 30, 2017.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Shepherd; children, James (Michele) Shepherd Jr. and Becky (Charles) Skaggs; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Denver Shepherd and Joann Pollard.
He was preceded in death by his son, Billy Alkire.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at G. H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Ave., Indianapolis, with the service at 1 p.m. Burial will be at New Crown Cemetery.
