INDIANAPOLIS
Delores D. (Dutton) Cutler, 94, of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2017.
She was born July 1, 1922, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Roy and Mabel (Bickel) Dutton.
She married Dr. Charles Russell Cutler on June 15, 1945 in Cincinnati, Ohio, he preceded her in death Feb. 21, 2010.
She was a graduate of Mariemont High School and Campbell Business College. She was the salutatorian of her high school graduating class.
She had been employed by Union Central Life Insurance Co. in Cincinnati and Ohio State University for seven years.
She had been a volunteer for Community Hospital South in Indianapolis for 20 years.
She had been a member of the Community Church of Greenwood. She enjoyed volunteering at the church and knitting.
Survivors include her son, Keith Roy Cutler of Indianapolis; and a niece, Beverly Liming of Cincinnati, Ohio; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dr. Charles Russell Cutler; and a sister, Wanda Hessler.
A service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 S. U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin where friends may call Friday from noon until the service time at the mortuary. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood. A gathering will follow the graveside service at 3 p.m. Friday at the Friendship Parlor at Crestwood Village South.
