GREENWOOD
Wanda C. Whaling, 54, Greenwood, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 29, 2017.
Born April 17, 1962, in Valparaiso to Clarence and Veronica (Levandoski) Koselke, she was a 1980 graduate of South Central High School.
Wanda’s passion was being a great mom.
She worked at Valle Vista Golf and Country Club and in the cafeterias at Sugar Grove and Middle School North.
An avid gardener, she enjoyed sewing and decorating.
She was a member of Saints Francis and Clare Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Timothy Whaling; children, Amanda Whaling, Kassie Whaling and Evan Whaling; mother, Veronica Koselke; nine siblings, Martha Peters (Jon), Claudia Swarthout (Fa. James), Mary Rogers (David), Cecil Koselke, Annette Price (Michael), George Koselke (Mary), Valerie Dvorak (Bob), Pat Koselke and Chris Koselke; and many nieces and nephews.
Local visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at G.H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home at The Gardens at Olive Branch, 1605 S. State Road 135, Greenwood.
