Local show choirs snagged top three placements at an Indianapolis area show choir competition.
Sound System and The Debtones, both from Center Grove High School, snagged grand champion in their division at the Fishers Spotlight Show Choir Invitational.
The Debtones collected awards for Best Vocals, Best Choreography and junior Abby Plummer was named Best Performer. Sound System received awards for Best Vocals, Best Choreography and senior Alex Milligan was named Best Performer. In the solo competition, Haley Burgh was second runner up, and Taylor Ward was third runner up.
The Heritage Singers of Franklin Community High School placed third overall, and the Sensation choir placed third in the championship division.
Jaxson Deno placed first and Ellie VanderVeen placed second in the solo division.
