GREENWOOD
April M. Morris, 42 of Greenwood, passed away unexpectedly Monday, Jan. 23, 2017. She was born May 16, 1974, in Muncie.
April worked for The Indiana Youth Institute consultant for nearly five years and officially joined the IYI staff in July 2010 as the finance and operations associate; she then moved to become the manager of operations in 2012. April is an alumna of Alvernia College, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in communications.
She is survived by her husband of 13 years Fred; son, Gabriel Rosenthal; daughter, Leorah Kate Morris; and brother, John Rosenthal.
Celebration of April’s life will be at 7 p.m. Saturday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral & Crematory – Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main St., with a memorial gathering from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
