History group to meet for snacks, movie

The History for Young Professionals group will meet for a movie and museum visit on Feb. 10.

The evening will start at 6 p.m. at the Johnson Country Museum of History for snacks and an overview of the historical era of World War I, the time period of “The African Queen,” which the group will see afterward.

From the curator, visitors will also get a preview of the World War I exhibit to open later in the year. The event is free, and HYPstory will cover the cost of admission. Sign up by Feb 8.
