Supporters of a Franklin woman diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer will host a benefit event featuring designer purses and live music.
Bag, Bingo & Band will be 5 to 11 p.m. Saturday at the Franklin Elks Lodge No. 1818, 56 E. Jefferson St. All proceeds will go to Jessica’s Journey, a fundraising effort to help Jessica Brunning and her family with the cost of cancer treatment and other expenses. Brunning was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer in 2016.
The event will feature the band Keller & Cole performing from 9 to 11 p.m. A silent auction and raffle also will be part of the fundraiser. Concessions will be available to purchase.
