INDIANAPOLIS
Samuel S. Rumford, Jr., 84, Indianapolis, died Thursday, Jan. 19, 2017.
Survivors include his wife, Thelma “T.R.” Amos Rumford; daughter, Vicki Walker, Indianapolis; son, Gregg (Collie) Rees- Rumford, Nashville; three grandchildren; and a great grandchild.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center with visitation 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary. Entombment will be at Washington Park East Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the East Tenth Street United Methodist Church.
